Gecama
Spain
Gecama is the largest operational wind farm today in Spain, comprising 329 MW. The project, located in Castilla La Mancha, sells electricity under a Merchant Model. As part of the project, we constructed a new 50km transmission line with 1 GW of generation capacity, which is more than three times the capacity required for Gecama. This will enable us to develop additional projects in the area across wind, solar and energy storage as part of our interconnection led land and expand strategy.
