Asset Management & Ownership

Once the project has been completed, electricity can be sold. Our asset management team manages the day to day sale of electricity, whether the project sells power under a long term power purchase agreement (PPA) or electricity is sold under a merchant model. For projects where we sell the electricity under a merchant model, we actively hedge our exposure to market prices through CFDs and other financial instruments. Our asset management team continues to supervise operation and maintenance on-site, and manage the financial, regulatory and operational interfaces.

As an IPP, we also benefit from the cash flow generated by our projects. This income allows us to support the continued growth of Enlight and reinvest funds into new greenfield development.
