Solar

The Hoshen Reservoir is a newly constructed reservoir in the Golan Heights, near Moshav Keshet. It was built by the KKL-JNF and launched in November 2022. The Hoshen project is the first in Israel to combine floating solar panels and storage. The efficient technology of floating panels not only utilizes the land resource for dual use, but also prevents water evaporation from the reservoir. This project is a prime example of how technology and resource management can work together to achieve sustainable solutions.
